U9s to U11s head to Dutch Masters

Recently the U9s to U11s took part in the ‘Dutch masters street football tournament’ which was held at the university of Warwick, in Coventry. A prestigious event held yearly bringing professional academies and top futsal clubs from across the country together.

5 teams travelled to Warwick from U9s to U11s for the 2026 event, representing the club in an elite futsal tournament with a slight twist on the tradition rules of futsal. Providing the players with a unique experience of what professional clubs would experience across Europe in the winter months. Across the three weekends, the groups had a fantastic experience and picked up some brilliant results against professional academy sides.

The tournament allows for the players in the team to gain experience in a competitive environment against some really high-level teams. Exposing the players on a technical/tactical level against a variety of opposition. Due to the nature of the tournament, it also provided psychological demands on the teams, the fast pace and small areas really tested the groups, something that is vital for their long term development. Overall, an invaluable experience for our players.

We thank Street Football Tournaments as always for the invitation, we will be back next year for the 2027 events!
