We are incredibly proud to announce that 10 of our players have been selected for the England Futsal Talent Pathway — a fantastic achievement that reflects both their individual quality and the continued growth of our club.

Following a series of highly competitive open trials, each player earned their place through a combination of exceptional ability, attitude, and strong recommendations from within the club. To see so many of our players recognised at a national level is a testament to their hard work, commitment, and passion for the game. Of the players selected, an outstanding six come from our Under 15s squad, highlighting the strength and potential within our younger age groups. In addition, four players from our Under 17s have also been chosen, further demonstrating the consistency of development across the club. The cycle is a two year cycle, so selected players will be part of the MU17 (U15s) and MU19 (U17s).
As part of the programme, the players will have the opportunity to work closely with England Futsal coaching staff, gaining valuable experience and insight into the national setup. The pathway includes six talent development days spread across a 12-month period, providing a structured environment for the players to refine their skills and showcase their progress. For the Under 19 players in particular, this pathway could lead to even greater opportunities, with the chance to push for selection to represent England in the upcoming UEFA Futsal Euro qualifiers in 2027. This is a remarkable opportunity and one that truly reflects the level they are now competing at.

This achievement is not only a proud moment for the players and their families, but also for everyone involved in the club. It reinforces the strength of our coaching, the dedication of our teams, and the positive environment we continue to build. We hope this milestone serves as inspiration to all of our players. It shows what can be achieved through hard work, determination, and belief. The pathway is there for those willing to put in the effort, and we are excited to see who might be next to follow in their footsteps.
MU19; Ben Unwin, Charlie Dawber, Freddie Beasley, Freddie Coffey.
MU17; Albi Caven, Alex Niland, Joe Watson, Josh Sutcliffe, Olly Cook, Zak Fulgoni.
Once again, congratulations to all ten players — we couldn’t be prouder of you and look forward to supporting you on this exciting journey.
